Credentials: LMFT
Title: Clinical Supervisor
Pronouns: she/her
Who I Work Best With:
I help hard working therapists take their training from theoretical to practical, stop over-thinking, and eliminate imposter syndrome so they can feel calm, confident, and connected to their clients without burning out.
You’re competent, dedicated, and deeply caring. From the outside, it looks like you have it all together. Yet, you find yourself questioning if you are “good enough” and feeling numb, anxious, or unfulfilled. If you are a provisionally licensed MFTC or LPCC in Colorado, you might be feeling weighed down by perfectionism or self-doubt. Or even as a fully licensed therapist, you may be unsure if you have the skills you need to do this difficult work. Know that you’re not alone and you don’t have to navigate this by yourself. Whether you are seeing a diverse clientele in community mental health or niching down in the private practice realm, high-level supervision or consultation can accelerate your growth by helping you move beyond basic competence into nuanced practice with resilience and confidence.
As your supervisor, I create a supportive and reflective space where you can not only explore your strengths and deepen your clinical knowledge and competency, but safely face your fears, self-criticism, and doubts. Together, we’ll shift from a mindset of constantly trying to prove yourself to one of clarity and ease. Through self-exploration and the cultivation of self-compassion, you’ll learn to trust your natural therapeutic instincts, embrace imperfection as part of growth, and show up more calmly and confidently for both yourself and your clients.
My role is not just to guide your clinical development, but to further develop your professional identity. I offer individual supervision, group supervision, individual consultation and group consultation. In our sessions, I will support you in moving past textbook-driven interactions and into genuine, attuned connection. By embracing your authenticity, your work becomes not only more effective, but more fulfilling.
Madison is licensed to provide clinical supervision in Colorado. Madison is an Independent Contractor with Firelight Supervision.
Grounded in diverse clinical experiences in community mental health, residential treatment, and private practice, I specialize in supporting new and experienced clinicians both in skill acquisition and in the deeper intrapersonal aspects of professional growth. I specialize in adolescents, young adults, and families who have experienced intergenerational and developmental trauma. Although I have training in and can support you using a range of modalities, my interventions are primarily rooted in psychodynamic psychotherapy, DBT, and CBT.
I approach supervision and consultation as a collaborative process that supports niche development, reflective capacity, and clinical confidence across stages of growth. I specialize in helping therapists embrace their authenticity and move beyond who they think they “should be” to who they truly are. My supervision style is warm and direct, sprinkled with humor to balance professionalism with authenticity and grounded realness.

Supervision Training and Experience:
My foundational education in psychodynamic psychotherapy provides a strong framework for helping interns and associates navigate the internal processes that arise during training, including countertransference, self-doubt, and professional identity development. I am particularly attuned to supporting clinicians through reflective growth, fostering self-awareness, and building emotional resilience.
My extensive experience working as the Lead Therapist and Family Educator in multiple residential treatment centers has equipped me with a broad and adaptable clinical skill set. In this position I also supported interns and associate therapists in sharpening a wide range of clinical knowledge and skills as well as building confidence across complex cases. In addition, my experience working in private practice and building my own practice offers a unique perspective in supporting clinicians as they move toward greater independence.
Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, doing hot yoga, and building and refinishing furniture. Like many parents, my toddler has taught me so much about flexibility, radical acceptance, and self-compassion. When I need some stimulation-based focus, you can find me with my airpods in binging podcasts – anything from true crime, to political debate, to Real Housewives recaps.
