This presentation is designed to provide information about Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as the mapping process so that you can better support your clients.

The Training will help you:

  • Participants will be able to identify each section of the ACT’s core tenants: Being Present, Acceptance, Self-as-Context, Committed Actions, Diffusion, Values

  • Participants will be able to pair metaphor to each section of the mapping process

  • Participants will be able to differentiate internal vs. external functioning

His training in ACT has lead to presenting at Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS) World Conference and he continues to learn and develop new conceptualization and application of ACT for his clients, trainees, relationships, and self.
