Lunch & Learn: The Anti-Oppression Therapist: Working with Trans Clients

This training is for therapists, social workers, and counselors. This training will answer the questions: What is an anti-oppression orientation? (and why does it matter?) How do we apply this to trans clients? How is it different and similar than work with other clients?

The Training will help you:

  • Increase your confidence in working with Trans*, non-binary, and gender non-conforming clients
  • Apply principles of anti-oppression therapy to Trans* clients
  • Identify areas of harm and healing in the therapeutic environment for Trans* clients

Yes, this training will be recorded. But you’ll get best results if you attend this LIVE and INTERACTIVE training including:

  • Learn directly from a Trans* therapist
  • Ask questions that you may not have another outlet to ask
  • Practice with the trainer suggestions for working with clients
