Pronouns: he/him
Who I Work Best With:
I help therapists and counselors working with couples feel confident in their work so they can provide the best therapy for their clients. Are you finding yourself stuck in couples sessions when the same arguments play out again and again? Do you feel like you’re doing all the emotional heavy lifting in sessions—and wondering if you’re actually helping?
I offer clinical consultation to licensed therapists who want to feel more grounded, confident, and clear in their work with couples. Whether you’re just starting to take on couples or have years of experience, I help you navigate the complexities of relational dynamics, cultural differences, emotional flooding, and misaligned expectations that may show up in your couples sessions.
You may be working with high-conflict couples, dealing with infidelity, or trying to help partners reconnect after years of growing apart. My consultation style is collaborative and straightforward. I meet you where you are and help you move forward with intention and skill.
If you want to deepen your clinical work with couples and avoid burnout along the way, I’m here to support your growth.
I can provide you with group consultation focused on couples, individual consultation and couples consultation.
In consultation, I offer a structured but conversational space where you can process difficult couples cases, troubleshoot interventions, and reflect on what’s coming up for you in the room. I’m not here to give you a checklist—I’m here to help you think like a couples therapist and feel more confident in your clinical decisions.
You can expect practical feedback, space to reflect on transference and countertransference, and strategies you can take back into your next session. Together, we’ll build your ability to manage intense emotions, maintain neutrality, and stay grounded in your approach.

Supervision Training and Experience:
I have provided couples therapy and consultation for over 20 years in both community mental health and private practice settings. I’ve worked with couples from diverse backgrounds, navigating everything from cultural differences to parenting challenges to long-standing resentment.
My clinical training includes Gottman Method Couples Therapy, along with ongoing education in evidence-based couples interventions such as CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy, strength-based approaches and systems modalities. I’ve supported both new and experienced clinicians as they integrate new approaches into their couples work, build confidence in their interventions, and avoid burnout in emotionally intense cases.
I am passionate about helping therapists feel more equipped to handle the nuance and emotional weight of couples work. My goal is to support your growth—so you can support your clients with clarity and compassion.
