Who I Work Best With:
You are a bit nervous about doing clinical supervision or consultation, and are looking for a safe, non-judgmental space to share ideas, review ethical concerns/dilemmas, and just feel supported. You want to continue to learn and grow, regardless of where you are in your career and your experience as a counselor or social worker. You enjoy working with a wide variety of clientele but also hope to further your specialization in a niche area.
I love everything about the supervision and consultation process. I can support you in whatever your professional growth goals are, and can provide you with clinical growth from a trauma-informed lens. Working with children, adolescents and families are a particular passion of mine, but I also work with adults. Giving you access to high level clinical supervision is something I’m passionate about.
I have worked in school settings, private practices, hospitals, crisis teams, and residential agencies. Regardless if you work in a community setting within a team, or are on your own in private practice, I can give you the clinical guidance you’re looking for. Looking for supervision of your supervision, for your ACS credential? I got you!
I can provide individual supervision, group supervision, individual consultation and group consultation. Nellie Taylor is an Independent Contractor with Firelight Supervision.
I bring lots of energy and excitement to our supervision and consultation sessions. I am fun to work with but I will hold you to the highest standards in your clinical practice. We will laugh together and maybe even cry together, but I’ll be with you the entire journey. I provide supervision from an Integrative Development Model which lets me adjust my supervision to your training and experience levels.
While I am not an expert in all therapeutic orientations and techniques, my exposure to so many different styles over the years allows me to work well with therapists of all orientations and backgrounds.

I have provided clinical supervision and consultation for provisionally-licensed and licensed counselors and social workers since 2006, and supervision related to addictions/substance use since 2009. My graduate school program provided me with specific training in clinical supervision, as well as other supervision courses I’ve taken through the years.
