KRISTEN DAMMER
Credentials: LCSW, ACS
Title: Approved Clinical Supervisor
Pronouns: she/her
Who I Work Best With:
You know you are a great therapist but your internal dialogue switches into self-critical mode because of challenges with executive functioning. You might wonder “why can’t I function normally like everyone else.” I understand. I myself live with ADHD. I can help you celebrate and accept your wonderful neurodivergent brain. If you struggle with completing paperwork, time blindness, working memory, planning, organizing and future thinking, you could benefit from working with an Approved Clinical Supervisor who understands these executive functioning challenges.
Whether you’re a new counselor or social worker just entering the field or a clinician with several years of experience, you enjoy seeking out learning opportunities. Supervision or consultation with me would help you hone your passion and clinical skills, all within the context of trauma-informed care. I tend to work from a more holistic approach, utilizing the combination of the mind and body together, especially if you identify as neurodivergent.
If you work in an agency setting without adequate clinical supervision, a hospital or other healthcare setting where you are the solo therapist or social worker, or in a private practice, I can help. I’ve worked in many of these same settings and know what it’s like to feel isolated and alone, without clinical support.
I can help you with individual supervision, group supervision, individual consultation or group consultation. If you are motivated to learn and grow as a therapist, and if you value open communication between yourself and your supervisor, I would love to work with you.
