Kayla Bettis-Weber, LCSW, LAC, ACS
Kayla Bettis-Weber is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC). She has more than a decade of experience treating severe eating disorders requiring participation in multi-disciplinary teams and facilitating referrals to acute stabilization units or residential treatment programs. She has also worked with more mild cases, helping clients explore the origins of body shame, and utilizing feminist theory to unpack myths around diet culture and unrealistic beauty standards in this country. In addition to owning and operating a private practice, Shanti Counseling, Kayla is an off-site field supervisor for Master’s level students and an adjunct professor at the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work (GSSW).
