Title: Clinical Supervisor
Who I Work Best With:
You may be just graduating or entering this profession as your second career and looking for space to process cases, continue learning, and discuss ethical dilemmas …let’s talk! If you are working in a setting where you are the only mental health provider and feel like you’re on an island by yourself with no support, it’s hard to provide the best services you can to your clients. If you were unable to select your previous clinical supervisor and feel like you missed that deeper connection, I can relate.
Are you feeling overwhelmed with wondering what intervention to use or wondering what your niche should be? Don’t worry! Supervision allows that opportunity for you to process all of your thoughts and questions in a non-judgement, safe place with others. My goal as a supervisor in working with you is for you to feel empowered and develop an increased understanding of yourself. I will be there to provide support while also holding you to high standards.
Working with teens, adults, and couples is a passion of mine. I’ve worked in schools, community mental health, group and private practice. I will support you using a trauma-informed, culturally responsive lens. I am a skills-based therapist and supervisor and have expertise in various evidence-based modalities. I am also trained in trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT) and Gottman Levels I and II.
